Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): Make garlic and onions dead by cooking

Narrated Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah (RadhiAllahu 'anhu):

The Prophet of Allah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) forbade these two plants (i.e.garlic and onions).

And he ﷺ said: He who eats them should not come near our mosque. If it is necessary to eat them, make them dead by cooking, that is, onions and garlic.

He who eats garlic should not go near the mosque

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri (RadhiAllahu 'anhu):

The garlic and onions were mentioned before the Prophet of Allah ﷺ.

He was told: The most severe of them is garlic.

Would you make it unlawful?

The Prophet ﷺ said: Eat it, and he who eats it should not come near this mosque until its odour goes away.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): Purify your mouths with Siwaak for recitation of Quran

‘Ali (RadhiAllahu 'anhu) reported:

Prophet of Allah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said:

"When the slave (of Allah the Almighty) uses Siwak, then stands to perform Salah (Prayers), an angel stands behind him, listening closely to his recitation. He then draws closer and closer to him, until he places his mouth upon the mouth (of the one reciting the Noble Quran). Whatever he recites from the Noble Quran, it enters inside the angel; so purify your mouths (with Siwaak) for (the recitation of) the Noble Quran.”

[Reported by Al-Bazzar in his Musnad (p. 60)]

Al-Albaani deemed it Saheeh (authentic) in As-Silsilah As-Saheehah no. (1213)
