Reward of performing `Isha' and Fajr prayers in congregation

`Uthman bin `Affan (RadhiAllahu 'anhu) reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying:

"One who performs `Isha' prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat for half of the night. And one who performs the Fajr prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat the whole night.'' [Sahih Muslim]

`Uthman bin Affan (RadhiAllahu 'anhu) narrated,

that he had heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying:

"He who attends `Isha' in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat for half of the night; and he who attends `Isha' and Fajr prayers in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat for the whole night.'' [Jami At-Tirmidhi]

Commentary:
This Hadith tells us that the reward of performing `Isha' and Fajr prayers in congregation is so great that it equals the worship of the whole night.

Three qualities to taste the sweetness of Iman in Islam

Narrated Anas bin Malik (RadhiAllahu 'anhu),

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Whoever possesses the following three qualities will taste the sweetness of faith:

1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle become dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's sake.
3. Who hates to revert to disbelief (Atheism) after Allah has brought (saved) him out from it, as he hates to be thrown in fire."

What Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) would say when he wanted to sleep and wake.

Hudhaifah bin Al-Yamn (RadhiAllahu 'anhu) narrated that when the Prophet ﷺ wanted to sleep, he would say:

"O Allah, in Your Name I die and I live
(Allãhumma Bismika Amütu Wa Ahya)."

And when he ﷺ would wake, he would say:

"All praise is due to Allah who revived my soul after causing its death and to Him is the resurrection
(Al-Hamdulillah, Alladhi Ahya Nafsi Ba 'da Ma Amataha Wa Ilaihin-Nushür)."

Fasting is a shield. Allah says: The fast is for Me. So I will reward for it.

Narrated Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu 'anhu),

Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said:

"Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, 'I am fasting."

The Prophet ﷺ added, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times."

Mercy of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) - Mercy for Mankind

Narrated 'Aisha (RadiAllahu 'anha), that she asked the Prophet ﷺ: 'Have you encountered a day harder than the day of the battle of Uhud?"

The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Your tribes have troubled me a lot, and the worse trouble was the trouble on the day of 'Aqaba when I presented myself to Ibn 'Abd-Yalail bin 'Abd-Kulal and he did not respond to my demand. So I departed, overwhelmed with excessive sorrow, and proceeded on, and could not relax till I found myself at Qarnath-Tha-alib where I lifted my head towards the sky to see a cloud shading me unexpectedly. I looked up and saw Gabriel in it.

He called me saying, 'Allah has heard your people's saying to you, and what they have replied back to you, Allah has sent the Angel of the Mountains to you so that you may order him to do whatever you wish to these people.'

The Angel of the Mountains called and greeted me, and then said, "O Muhammad ﷺ! Order what you wish. If you like, I will let Al-Akh-Shabain (i.e. two mountains) fall on them."

The Prophet ﷺ said, "No but I hope that Allah will let them beget children who will worship Allah Alone, and will worship None besides Him."

that the Prophet ﷺ said when he broke his fast:

ذَهَـبَ الظَّمَـأُ، وَابْتَلَّـتِ العُـروق، وَثَبَـتَ الأجْـرُ إِنْ شـاءَ الله

"Dhahaba al-zama'u, wa'btallat al-'urooqu, wa thabat al-ajru, insha Allah"
